Predictability vs Possibility
You have been sold a predictable life. Get your education, find a job, save money & eventually retire. We've been taught to aspire to a predictable trajectory because it's safe & calm. But behind the veil of predictability there is another way of life. A life full of possibility. This life requires action, courage & a capacity to sit in the void.
In order to play in the field of possibility, you have to be willing to sit with 'what if?' What if it doesn't work out? What if I don't get what I want? What if I fail?
Can you handle the unknown, the maybe? Because possibly yes also means possibly no. Maybe you'll get more than you ever imagined, but maybe you’ll get disappointed. It's amazing how readily we opt for predictable rather than hold maybe.
Are you going to keep doing exactly what you've done all year & hope for a different result or do you want to see what you are really capable of?
