Freedom in Forgiveness
Forgiveness gives you a fresh slate. Otherwise, you remain a walking emotional reaction. Tethered to your past. You end up staying connected to the people you are angry with through your emotions. It keeps you tied to people & feelings you could otherwise be free from.
The goal of forgiveness is to close pain cycles. You let go. It requires us to confront some hard truths & do the inner work. Taking responsibility for the uncomfortable truth that what we have not yet forgiven is holding us back.

Reflections
Write a forgiveness letter to yourself.
“I forgive myself for…”
Write a forgiveness letter to the people or circumstances for the pain they caused you. Family. Partner. Business. Mentor. Client. Competition. Social media. Friends. Community. The public.
“I forgive you for your ignorance in…”
“I forgive you for what your ‘not knowing’ caused me…”
Release the stories. Release as much as you can. It’s layer by layer. It cracks pieces open. It expands. Take away the story that the people knew what they were doing to hurt you.
Once you have finished, dispose of the letters.
